At first, the school was established for the morning session in 2023 BS in chowkbazaar, the centre point of kesharbag, parasnagar and Indrapuri in the leadership of local pandit Bal Krishna mishra and his followers.This great deed of the first SMC president late Jeevanath Pokhrel and educationist Thir Prasad shrestha has seen in the appointment letter of the first Headteacher Mr Jagadish Sharma Sapkota. Later the school was shifted from chowkbazaar to the present place. For this 3 kattha land was provided by Mrs. Sharada Shrestha and the economical strengthened was managed by Late Nar Bahadur Khand. Ganesh Bikram Khand the past president of ward no 6 and 9 of Geetanagar VDC respectively. The wood for school building were also provided by them from Dharma Bhakari. Then the school had inaugurated as the name of “Sishu Pragati Prathamik Pathshala” in magh 20, 2024, the day of “Margha Shukla Panchami or Shree Panchami.” This is the formal day of school establishment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The date of establishment, approval and acceptance : - Primary level : 2024 Magh 20 BS [ sishu Pragati Paathshala]; - Lower Secondary Level : 2034 Magh 4 BS [ Shree Nimna Madhyamik Bidhyalaya ,Parasnagar]; - Secondary Level [9 and 10 ] : 2059 magh 10 [Shree Paras Ma.Vi. Parasnagar] approval for class 9 in 2057/07/03; - Name Modification : 2064/03/24 BS as a Sahid Smriti Secondary School; - Secondar Level 11 and 12 : 2077 Shrawan 18 approval for class 11 and 2078/08/28 approval for class 12; ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The flow of the student had grown day by day so that to extend the premises of the school two kattha land was purchased from Dharma Raj Prasai and the next two kattha was purchased from Dharma Raj Paudel and Lok Bahadur Gurung and at the same time the fourteen Dhur land was donated by Moti Prasad Paudel. After that the school got approval to run lower secondary level as the structure of 3-4-3. The school had got the approval letter in 2034/10/4 to run class four. Later the approval and acceptance was given to upgrade the clasess 5,6 and 7. Class 8 was upgraded as the amended structure of 5-3-2 and granted permission in 2052/01/14 BS. The SMC meeting of 2056/08/31 was held in the chairmanship of Late Nar Bahadur Khand along with the reputed personalities, Teacher staffs and school’ parents of the catchment area and declared the steering committee of 215 members to lunch the “ Dhanadhayachal Mahayagya” from Push 16 to 25 . From this great holy Mahayagya RS. 11,21,394 and paisa 20 (in words - Eleven lakhs, twenty-one thousand, three hundred and ninety four rupees and 20 paisa ) collected as a fund of internal sources to run the school smoothly by providing allowances to the school’s private teachers staffs. The school had been running till 2075 by this fond. The remarkable Contribution of past SMC president late Nar Bahadur Khand, Sobhakhar Chapagain, Bhagirath Timilsena, Gyan Prasad Rijal and other respectable personalities will be indicated as a golden writing in the school’s history. The school had started to run class 9 and 10 as a secondary level after getting approval in 2057/7/3 and 2058 respectively. Later got a approval letter in 2059/10/10 as a foundation of secondary level education. Likewise, the present two RCC buildings and computer lab was founded by the endowment of Room To Read, Surya Kiran Foundation and District Education Office. These institutions are acknowledged for the school prosperity. Furthermore, The contribution of Rotract Club of Narayanghad was praiseworthy that they provided the Generator and E Library to the school. It is supporting to run computer classes and e-library sessions easily at the time of load shedding till this moment. In addition, the school had conducted second Dhanadhanyachal Gyan Mahayagya in the chairmanship of SMC President, a dynamic Social worker Mr Bishnu Prasad Tiwari including 3001 main navigating committee members from Push 5 to 15 in 2075. From that spiritual mahayagya school has added 575 lakhs approximately in its fund and bought 9 kattha land on the south west part of the school across the road. The main aim of that Mahayagya was to run the classes 11 and 12 and to lane the vocational /technical education. As a result, school got the approval to run the class 11 in 2077/04/18 and class 12 in 2078/08/28. Classes 11 and 12 have been running since 2077 in this school and over 700 students have been studying now from class nursery to 12. In the present situation, the craze of English medium has been increasing day by day and parent’s attraction has increased in private schools. So that public schools have been facing the problem to enroll the student in lower level and run the classes smoothly. To minimize this situation, our school has been lunching the Montessori based teaching activities and fully English medium environment in the school premises up to class 12.
